Silicon-Based Passive Devices for Advanced Applications


Our silicon (Si) chip capacitors offer improved reliability and ruggedness over traditional MOS devices. Our noise generation avalanche diodes provide true symmetrical Gaussian white noise. We offer Si chip capacitors, spiral bias element chips, and silicon avalanche/noise diodes. Silicon avalanche/noise diode devices generate narrowband and broadband white noise for test equipment, electronic counter measures, noise figure testing and RF fuses.

Hybrid Binary Capacitors

The GC83000 series of binary digital MNS capacitor arrays provides a convenient, cost- effective and high-performance solution for capacitance value adjustment in today’s high-density microwave hybrid circuitry.

GC8400 MNS are high-Q devices that are used in UHF through Ku-band applications. They offer superior insertion loss characteristics than ceramic chip capacitors for high-frequency applications.

Hybrid Spiral Bias Elements

The GC9000 series of spiral bias element chips is designed to meet hybrid microwave circuit requirements for DC power injection through Ku (or J) band.

MMSM Surface Mount Capacitors

The MPC8000 series of surface mount capacitors utilizes technology that allows the package/device integration to be accomplished at the wafer fabrication level. The parasitic package inductance is tightly controlled and provides smooth, non-resonant functionality through X-band.
