Tips for Using This Tool

Top Navigation Menu

This Menu will be Visible whenever you visit Parametric Search Tool

  • Click on first Drop down to select the Product Category
  • Click on the Second drop Down to Select the product Subcategory, a Chart will be rendered if the Subcategory has no possible Subcategories under it.
  • Click on the third drop down to select the final product subcategory to get to parametric charts under the subcategory. Click on the subcategory name to select the chart you want to look at.

Chart Customization Option 

The steps below guide you about different features available on charts to customize.

  • Use ‘Filter’ to apply the filters in bulk.
  • Use ‘Columns’ to choose the columns you want to view or to move them in sequence you would like to view the chart data.
  • Use ‘Reset Table’ to remove all filters or column sequence you applied and start from scratch.

Chart Column level features: 

There are some features available at each column header, Sort, Filter and Active/ inactive when filter in use:

  • Each column has a Filter or slider, when used it will Apply as ‘And’ condition when more than one column filters are in use.
  • Each column can be used to sort by when various values are available in the field.
  • When a column level filter is Active there is a visual indication of the same.

 

Chart Row Level Features

  • Expand a Product summary with click of this icon
  • Download Datasheet in PDF
  • Download Datasheet in PDF
  • Expand Purchase Details

Purchase Section

  • In the purchase details page, you can filter all catalog parts using the available filters.
  • Use ‘Back to Chart’ to go back to complete list of products.
 

Chart Sharing Features

  • Use ‘Download’ or ‘Share’ options to share the view you filter to.
 

Compare Products

  • Select up to 5 products to compare.
  •  Click on ‘Compare’ to go to compare view.
  • Move the Rows Up and Down to get a better view per your need.
  • Use Share Comparison to email the Comparison view you are looking at. 
  • Look at all parameters or just differences.
  • Use ‘Back’ to go back to original chart.
