As new materials and devices emerge, manufacturers are adopting haptic technologies more frequently with implications for a variety of markets and applications. The ability to create strong tactile effects for purposes ranging from simple user feedback to increased sophistication in textural effects promises to revolutionize user interaction with the environment.
We are working closely with industry partners and clients to create leading-edge products based on our strong high-voltage capabilities and rich mix of analog/mixed-signal Integrated Circuits (ICs) and microcontrollers (MCUs) that deliver on the promise of this rapidly expanding technology.
Kemet’s Haptic actuators leverage cutting-edge, next-generation thin-film technology that produces localized bodily sensations and tactile effects that are unrivaled in the market. You can use these flexible actuators in multiple applications such as AR/VR, sports training, gaming controllers or any other product that contains human-computer interaction. With their thin and flexible piezoelectric film technology, you can add haptic effects to your products to provide an enhanced user experience with a unique range of customizable touch sensations that feel natural and authentic.
Applications:
The HV56020 is a dual amplifier with integrated boost for driving piezo actuators for haptic applications such as Kemet film actuators and other solutions.
The HV56022 is a dual amplifier for driving piezo actuators for haptic applications such as Kemet film actuators and other solutions.
The HV53001 device is an integrated driver solution for various applications, which consists of three main functional blocks: a high voltage driver, an SPI interface and a DC/DC boost controller with power MOSFET.
HV53011 is a high-voltage driver solution for surface haptic applications. It consists of 16 push-pull drivers capable of +/-135V output swing with Return-To-Zero (RTZ) function. Each output driver is capable of sourcing
and sinking at least 24 mA.
The HV56264 IC is an AEC Q100 rated, quad high-voltage amplifier array IC. The device operates on a 225V high-voltage supply and a 5.0V low-voltage supply.
