Our Ethernet physical layer (PHY) solutions have been used successfully in industrial Ethernet applications for many years. We launched our first integrated EtherCAT device in 2015 to enable our clients to take advantage of the many benefits of EtherCAT technology. Our EtherCAT product portfolio includes PHY devices, controllers and fully integrated microcontrollers (MCUs) that support both EtherCAT and Ethernet technologies. They include refinements such as ESI EEPROM emulation and clock daisy-chaining. Our MPLAB® Harmony embedded software framework for 32-bit MCUs also supports EtherCAT technology to simplify your development and accelerate bringing your design from concept to production.
